State Rep. Jim DeSana, R-Ash Township, today said his office is open and ready to assist people in the downriver area and Monroe County.
DeSana represents Michigan’s 29th House District, which spans parts of Monroe and Wayne counties, including portions of Monroe, Taylor and Romulus, the village of Carleton and the townships of Ash and Huron, and a portion of Frenchtown Township.
“I’m blessed to have the support of our community,” DeSana said. “I enjoy hearing from people, and I want to make sure everyone knows how they can share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns. I also have a great team available to assist residents who could use some direction navigating state government.”

The Legislature opened its 2023-24 session last week and legislators were notified of their committee assignments on Thursday. DeSana was appointed to serve on the Higher Education Committee.
