Mike Mueller and fellow members of the House Agriculture committee were presented copies of Right This Very Minute, a new educational children’s book published in cooperation with the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture. Rep. Mueller commended the book, written by Lisl H. Detlefsen and illustrated by Renée Kurilla, as a great way to introduce young people to the importance of farming in Michigan.
“Local health department experts across our state know what’s best for the kids in their communities,” Mueller said. “This plan ensures schools can choose the best mode of instruction for their unique area. As a parent, my priority is keeping kids safe without jeopardizing their education. Utilizing innovative methods of instruction, we can all work together to achieve that goal.”
