State Representative Matt Hall (R-Emmett Township) greeted President Donald J. Trump upon his arrival to Gerald R. Ford International Airport on Thursday, March 28. This was Trump’s first presidential visit to West Michigan.
“It was my honor to welcome President Trump to Michigan on Thursday,” said Rep. Hall. “Our state has come a long way and I thanked him for his support of Michigan’s manufacturing industry and keeping the Great Lakes clean.”
Rep. Hall was joined by U.S. Congressmen Jack Bergman, Bill Huizenga, and John Moolenaar, and former Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette.
Hall was elected last November as the state representative for the 63rd Michigan House District, which consists of south and central Calhoun county and eastern Kalamazoo county.
