I voted NO on HB 4676  (Rep. Young) Provides educational requirements for children placed in foster care, requires a report to the legislature and internal department review. EXPLANATION: This bill leads to more children in this state being subjected to the state-mandated curriculums.

PASSED 102-4

I voted YES on SB 721 (Sen. Moss) Would extend the sunset another 18 months to allow property owners time to properly update or file their claims against a marketable record of title, (to September 29, 2025.) EXPLANATION: Without the sunset extension, property owners will likely face significant challenges in keeping their property rights and agreements. I voted NO on HB 5203 (Rep. Breen)  Allows Retirants to be Employed by a County Sheriff’s Office Without Forfeiting Retirement Benefits. EXPLANATION: The collection of retirement benefits is meant for those who are retired, and it should stay that way.
