Representative Schuette Presents State Tribute to Award-Winning Dow High Teacher

PHOTO INFORMATION: Representative Bill G. Schuette presented Dow High Teacher Bridgit Sova with a state tribute on Friday, May 19.

The tribute, signed by Representative Schuette and Senator Kristen McDonald Rivet. Honors Bridgit for being recognized as the Michigan Region Four Teacher of the Year.

“Teachers like Bridgit are pillars of our community” Schuette said. “The care and energy that they bring to our education system is vital and I’m proud to have a teacher from Mid-Michigan receive this recognition.”

Rep. Schuette presented the tribute at the senior assembly at Dow High, his alma mater.
