Representative Schuette helps donate supplies to schools in Mid-Michigan
RELEASE|September 8, 2023

Representative Bill G. Schuette helped assist students and families in need in Mid-Michigan on Friday as kids begin a new schoolyear.

Schuette facilitated school supply donations to schools across Midland County through the AT&T Pioneer Tools for Learning program. Every year, the Pioneer program raises money, purchases supplies and fills backpacks to give to schools to help students in need. A total of 150 backpacks full of supplies were given out to schools by Representative Schuette and representatives from the program. Schuette and AT&T distributed backpacks to Central Park Elementary in Midland Public Schools, Coleman Elementary School and Beaverton Elementary School.

“As a proud product of Mid-Michigan public schools, I am grateful for the opportunity to help connect some of our local districts with this great program that serves those students in need,” Schuette said. “Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and this program helps give students some of the basic tools and supplies they need to excel in the classroom.”

“I’m appreciative of AT&T for their sponsorship of this program and glad to be part of these efforts.”

Schuette represents Midland County and parts of Gladwin County as part of the 95th Michigan House District.
