Rep. Bryan Posthumus (R-Cannon Township) invites members of his community to attend an open discussion about state and local government matters at his upcoming local office hours.
Posthumus’ office hours are an opportunity for constituents to speak directly with their representative and ask questions or share ideas.
The representative will be available Friday, Feb. 17 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Koffee Haus located at 201 E. Division St. in Sparta and from 10 to 11 a.m. at Herman’s Boy Inc. located at 220 Northland Dr. in Rockford.
Rep. Posthumus represents Michigan’s 90th House District, which includes the townships of Sparta, Alpine, Algoma, Courtland, Cannon, Grattan, Vergennes and parts of Tyrone and Plainfield, as well as the City of Rockford.
Residents may reach out to the representative’s office with any questions by calling (517) 373-0830 or sending an email to [email protected].
“It’s an honor to continue serving families in Kent County,” Posthumus said. “My staff and I are already hard at work serving the hardworking taxpayers here. I look forward to another term of service and bringing our West Michigan values to the Capitol.”
“The Democratic majority is doing whatever they can to pass a tax hike onto families and small businesses throughout Michigan. This bill was written in secret, efforts were made behind the scenes to strong-arm members, and Republicans weren’t allowed to stand up for Michigan taxpayers and speak against this — violating our right to debate.”
