State Rep. Bryan Posthumus of Kent County invites members of the community to attend an open discussion about state and local government matters at his upcoming local office hours.
Office hours are an opportunity for constituents to speak directly with their state representative and ask questions or share ideas.
Rep. Posthumus will be available Monday, April 25 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Russ’ Restaurant located at 3966 Plainfield Ave. NE in Grand Rapids and from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bernita Mae Café located at 10 Northland Dr. in Sand Lake.
Rep. Posthumus represents Michigan’s 73rd District, which includes East Grand Rapids, the townships of Cannon, Courtland, Grand Rapids, Nelson, Oakfield, Plainfield and Spencer.

Rep. Posthumus talks about legislation that he will introduce in the next few weeks that will provide for professional licensure reciprocity between Michigan and other states. Rep. Posthumus says eliminating some of the red tape involved with transferring credentials will make it easier for professionals to move to Michigan.
