State Rep. Tom Kuhn (R-Troy) Lthanked Pujari Pradipkumar Patel, the head pujariat BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Sterling Heights, for delivering the opening invocation during the Michigan House of Representatives session.

“It was an honor to welcome Pujari Pradipkumar Patel to the Capitol today,” said Kuhn. “His thoughtful and uplifting invocation reminded us of the spiritual values that unite our communities.”

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a sacred Hindu place of worship, deeply rooted in the Vedic tradition. More than a temple, the Mandir serves as a vibrant center of community, culture, and service for Southeast Michigan. BAPS mandirs inspire spiritual growth while fostering public service through educational programs, charitable initiatives, and interfaith outreach.

“BAPS continues to make a meaningful impact in our state through service, education, and civic engagement,” said Kuhn. “Their commitment to building stronger communities is something we can all appreciate and support.”
