Rep. Johnsen took the oath of office Wednesday, marking the beginning of her second term in the Michigan House of Representatives as the 103rd legislative session officially got underway.

A steadfast advocate for conservative values and limited government, Johnsen reaffirmed her commitment to serving the hardworking families in communities throughout the 78th District, which includes portions of Kent, Ionia, Barry, and Eaton counties.

Rep. Johnsen expressed her gratitude for the continued trust placed in her by area residents.

“It is a privilege to represent our district and fight for the principles that make Michigan strong —faith, family, and freedom,” Johnsen said. “As we begin this new term, I remain committed to advancing policies that prioritize individual liberty, reduce government overreach, and protect the values that bind our communities together.”
