State Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno, R-Rollin Township, invited Dr. Jeffrey Docking, President of Adrian College, to the Governor’s State of the State Address on Wednesday evening.

“It was truly an honor to have Dr. Docking join me as my guest to the State of the State,” said Jenkins-Arno, R-Rollin Township. “He is extremely committed to his students, and his dedication to his work makes him an invaluable member of the community. It was a privilege to invite him to the Capitol for the Governor’s address.”

Dr. Docking has grown Adrian College from 900 students to more than 1,850 students during his time as President. He is also the author of his book “The College of the Future: Lowering Costs for Students by Fixing the Business Model of Higher Education,” which outlines a striking plan to help American’s colleges grow by working create new growing majors.
