State Rep. Jaime Greene on Friday presented a state tribute to Pankiewicz Cider Mill & Farm Market in Casco Township. The tribute recognizes the farm’s status as the top cider mill in WDIV’s “Vote 4 the Best” competition this year. “Steve and Theresa Pankiewicz have grown their family business into a popular destination that plays a special role in the lives of families throughout the Blue Water area,” Greene said. “Their cider mill serves as a cherished gathering place where many fond memories are created and yummy doughnuts are devoured. They’re well-deserving of this recognition.”
In addition to the state tribute, the Pankiewicz Cider Mill received its verification from the Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assurance Program, a voluntary program designed to reduce environmental risks.
