Rep. Steve Frisbie and Republican colleagues testify before the House Transportation Committee on their plan to fix the roads without raising taxes.
State Rep. Frisbie today announced that Sheridan Township will receive a $3.3 million investment to replace and rehabilitate local bridges. The funding, secured through the state’s local development and infrastructure initiative, will enable the township to modernize critical bridge structures residents rely on every day.
“Safe and reliable bridges are essential for our families, farmers and small businesses,” said Frisbie. “This investment will help ensure Sheridan Township’s bridges remain structurally sound for decades to come while creating jobs and boosting the local economy.”
The appropriation will allow the township to engineer and construct improvements on aging bridges, reducing weight restrictions and improving emergency response times. Project planning is expected to begin soon.
Residents with questions or who need additional information are encouraged to contact Rep. Frisbie’s office.
