- Topic: Trade imbalances
The office hours take place at the following times and locations:

Broadway Cafe; 9 – 10 a.m.; 158 S. Broadway St., Cassopolis
St. Joseph County Commission on Aging – Sturgis Enrichment Center; 1 – 2 p.m.; 306 N. Franks Ave., Sturgis
No appointments are necessary to attend townhalls or office hours. Those who are unable to attend but would still like to share their thoughts with the representative may call his Lansing office at (517) 373-0843 or email [email protected].
Carra represents the 36th House District, which includes St. Joseph County, as well as parts of Cass County.
“Elected officials have a duty to be as open and transparent as possible,” said Carra, R-Three Rivers. “Lawmakers should never trade their silence for information about corruption that benefits the politically connected in their communities. Our job is to represent all the voices of our districts.”
“I came to Lansing to limit burdensome government requirements,” Carra said. “I can’t stand by idly while health system workers in our community are being pulled away from administering care to fulfill demanding state requirements.”
