Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller and state Rep. Pamela Hornberger attend the Economic Forecast event on Friday.
Macomb Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller thanks state Rep. Pamela Hornberger (R-Chesterfield Township) for her work to secure $72 million in state funding for water infrastructure improvement projects in Macomb County at the Chapaton Pumping Station in St. Clair Shores.
Hornberger and Miller worked closely together on the funding project that will take vital steps to prevent imminent sewer disasters and sinkhole collapses like the one that occurred in Macomb County in December 2016. It will go even further by reducing combined sewer overflows into Lake St. Clair and sewage backup into basements.
More details about the plan can be found here.
