VanSingel sworn in as Representative for 100th District in the 100th Legislature

State Rep. Scott VanSingel today took the oath of office with his colleagues in Lansing, kicking off his second term as Representative for the people of the 100th House District. The district includes Lake, Oceana and Newaygo counties.

“I am honored to be a part of Michigan’s 100th Legislature and to represent the good people of the 100th District,” VanSingel said. “The State of Michigan has come an extremely long way over the past 99 legislatures and I am looking forward to the things we will accomplish in the 100th legislature.”
VanSingel, a longtime resident of Grant, was joined in Lansing for the swearing-in ceremony by his daughter Sophia, mother, Sandy McKinley, and step-father, AJ McKinley.
