Speaker Chatfield honors Art in the Legislature participant at the Capitol

Speaker of the House, Lee Chatfield (left) welcomed University of Michigan art student Riley Parrish (right) to the state Capitol today to thank her for participating in the 2019-2020 Art in the Legislature program. Riley’s art piece “Deterioration” will be on exhibit all year long in the Anderson House Office Building. Parrish is a 2017 graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School and her family has strong ties in the Mackinac Island community.
