Rep. Beau LaFave of Iron Mountain is hosting office hours in August for the residents of Delta, Dickinson and Menominee counties at the following times and locations:

  • Friday, Oct. 6 from 3 to 4 p.m. CST at Kingsford City Hall, 305 S. Carpenter Ave. in Kingsford;
  • Saturday, Oct. 7 from noon to 1 p.m. CST at Sidetracks, N15903 Pine St. in Powers; and
  • Saturday, Oct. 7 from 5 to 6 p.m. EST at Garden Township Hall, 6316 State St. in Garden.


State Representative Beau LaFave was first elected in November 2016 to the Michigan House to represent the people of Delta, Dickinson and Menominee counties.

LaFave graduated from Kingsford High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Economy in 2015 from Michigan State University’s James Madison College. He then completed one year at Wayne State University Law School in pursuit of his Juris Doctorate degree. Beau has decided to temporarily put his law degree on hold to serve the people of the Upper Peninsula.

A lifelong resident of the 108th District, LaFave lives in Iron Mountain. He is a member of the historic Immaculate Conception Parish, and is an avid hunter/fisherman.
