State Rep. Pauline Wendzel was joined today by Captain Michael Brown of the Michigan State Police as her guests at the Michigan House of Representatives’ annual September 11th Memorial Service. Captain Brown serves as Michigan’s Fifth District Commander which covers all of Southwest Michigan. The ceremony remembers those dedicated individuals who served as first responders or lost their lives on 9-11 by recognizing servicemen and women in our local communities.
“September 11th is a time to reflect on those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our communities,” Wendzel said. “I’m honored to host Captain Brown and recognize his service to the State of Michigan. The courage and sacrifice our men and women in law enforcement embody on a daily basis is greatly appreciated and respected by the people of Southwest Michigan.”
