Rep. Beau LaFave of Iron Mountain announced today he will host a photo contest for residents of Dickinson, Menominee, and Delta Counties. The theme for the photo contest is summer in the U.P.

Three winners will be selected by Rep. LaFave, and the winning photos will be displayed in his Lansing office. The photographers will be invited to join him in Lansing in order to unveil the pictures.

“We are finally beginning to see signs of summer in the U.P.,” LaFave said. “Summer brings tourists from all over the country to see the vast beauty of our region. I am excited to showcase local photographers and their work in my Lansing office.”

Photos may be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to S-1487 House Office Building, P.O. Box 30014 Lansing, MI 48809. Qualified participants must live within the district that LaFave serves. Photo submissions should include name, address and contact information of the individual. The deadline is September 1.
