State Rep. Bronna Kahle of Adrian today issued the following statement after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced her state budget proposal:

“I want to work with the governor to solve this issue, because our crumbling roads are a real problem. But her first proposal simply isn’t going to work for the people in this community. We all know our local families and seniors cannot afford this massive tax hike, and that is why I am going to work with her to come up with a better, more realistic plan.”
