Rep. Johnson reads to local students
RELEASE|April 11, 2019

State Rep. Steve Johnson celebrated March is Reading Month by reading to 1,187 students at 11 local schools.

“It is important for young people to acquire an early appreciation for reading,” Rep. Johnson said. “It is a critical part of educational development and will impact the rest of their lives. I was thankful for the opportunity to share this with local students, and I encourage everyone to invest in their children and grandchildren throughout the year.”

March is Reading Month is an annual educational program designed to recognize the importance of reading inside and outside of the classroom.
