House Health Policy Committee Chair Rep. Vaupel talks about HB 4325, which clarifies the scope of practice for counselors in Michigan. Rep. Vaupel says ambiguity in state code and regulations mean legislation is needed for counselors to continue to include making a diagnosis as part of their practices. The plan passed unanimously out of the Health Policy Committee and is now before the House Ways and Means Committee.
