State Rep. Phil Green invites residents of Huron and Tuscola counties to participate in a summer photo contest with the theme “Summer Somewhere in the Thumb”. Winners will be chosen in the following categories: beach, family fun, nature, and community event.

“We live in one of the most beautiful areas of the entire state, and the Thumb comes alive in the summertime,” Rep. Green said. “I look forward to seeing photos of people throughout the region enjoying the weather.”

The contest will run through September 30, with winners being selected shortly thereafter. Photos can be submitted to [email protected] or mailed to S-1188 House Office Building, P.O. Box 30014, Lansing, MI 48809. All submissions should include the name, address, and contact information of the individual entering the contest, as well as where the photo was taken within the district. Winning photos will be displayed in Rep. Green’s Lansing office.
