State Rep. Triston Cole of Mancelona announced today the Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications for the Michigan Natural Resources Commission’s Youth Conservation Council. Young people from ages 14 to 18 with a passion for protecting and improving Michigan’s vast natural areas and building leadership skills are encouraged to apply. Those chosen will engage in outdoor recreation opportunities, attend Natural Resources Commission meetings, organize local events, and work as a team to discuss solutions for various natural resource challenges.
