State Rep. Ryan Berman of Commerce Township issued the following statement today following the press conference where L. Brooks Patterson announced that he has stage four pancreatic cancer:

“My thoughts and prayers are with Brooks Patterson and his family as he addresses his recent cancer diagnosis. Brooks has been a true leader of Oakland County for nearly three decades and has molded it into one of the most desirable communities in the country. I have no doubt that we will continue to see the positive impact from Brooks’ work in Oakland County for decades to come.”
