Rep. Bellino responds to governor’s stay- at-home order, COVID-19
RELEASE|March 24, 2020

State Rep Joe Bellino, of Monroe, issued the following statement after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order:

“I know times are tough right now because of the coronavirus, but I know we will get through this together. We can all do our part by staying home and taking responsible precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19.

“I know how hard this is on our small-business owners and employees, believe me, and there are resources to help. The state is providing $20 million in grants and loans to small businesses affected by coronavirus through the Michigan Small Business Relief Program. At the federal level, the Small Business Association is also offering enhanced disaster assistance.

“Your health and safety matter, and I know the people of Wayne and Monroe counties are tough – we will get through this.”
