Rep. Annette Glenn to host Aland Stamps of River Jordan Inc. on ‘Hometown Heroes’
RELEASE|September 13, 2019

The latest episode of Rep. Annette Glenn’s ‘Hometown Heroes’, a series highlighting local leaders and non-profit volunteers, will feature Aland Stamps of River Jordan Inc.

Stamps founded River Jordan Inc. with the goal of providing youth moving out of Michigan’s foster care system with transitional services such as job and interview coaching, financial literacy lessons, housing assistance, and general life mentoring and coaching, among other things.

“When I first met Aland and heard about River Jordan Inc., I knew we needed to feature him as a ‘Hometown Hero’,” Rep. Glenn said. “Too often, the transitional period from foster care to adulthood proves very difficult. Aland’s personal experiences and willingness to mentor ensures a smoother transition and sets people up for success. Our community is fortunate to have someone like Aland dedicating himself to this cause.”

The episode featuring Aland Stamps and River Jordan airs Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Charter Spectrum channel 191 or U-Verse channel 99. For more information on River Jordan Inc., please visit riverjordaninc.com.
