Be part of Rep. Afendoulis’ “73 Reasons” bulletin board
RELEASE|March 5, 2019

State Rep. Lynn Afendoulis, of Grand Rapids Township, today asked constituents to participate in a project that reminds her of the people, places and things she represents in the 73rd District. A bulletin board at the entrance to her office shows the “reasons” for her representation in Lansing. Everyone– the representative, her staff, and those who visit her office – sees them.

“I am charged with representing the best interests of the 73rd district,” Afendoulis said. “This is a good way for me to see, every day, the people and community treasures I represent. It also is a fun way to show others what makes our district great. I want so many pictures to choose from that we have to rotate them on a regular basis. So, I hope the people of the 73rd district start taking photos and sending them in!”

The 73rd District includes the city of East Grand Rapids and the townships of Grand Rapids, Cannon, Courtland, Nelson, Oakfield, Plainfield, and Spencer. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to P.O. Box 30014, Lansing, MI 48909. Residents can also call (517) 373-0218 with thoughts or questions.
