State Rep. Lynn Afendoulis, of Grand Rapids Township, today asked constituents to participate in a project that reminds her of the people, places and things she represents in the 73^rd District. A bulletin board at the entrance to her office shows the “reasons” for her representation in Lansing. Everyone– the representative, her staff, and those who visit her office – sees them.

“I am charged with representing the best interests of the 73rd district,” Afendoulis said. “This is a good way for me to see, every day, the people and community treasures I represent. It also is a fun way to show others what makes our district great. I want so many pictures to choose from that we have to rotate them on a regular basis. So, I hope the people of the 73^rd district start taking photos and sending them in!”

The 73^rd District includes the city of East Grand Rapids and the townships of Grand Rapids, Cannon, Courtland, Nelson, Oakfield, Plainfield, and Spencer.
