Rep. Albert talks about his multi-bill package of legislation that would allow amusement ride operators to display a star-rating reflecting the safety training of employees and inspection of rides.  The plan, currently pending in the House Regulatory Affairs Committee, creates the Michigan Safety and Amusement Star Program and the Fair and Festival’s Partners Program.  The idea for the legislation was brought to Rep. Albert by one of his constituents.
