Matt Hall talks about passage Thursday of a bipartisan package of bills that requires Children’s Protective Services to gather information on the safety of all children in a home where suspected child abuse or neglect has occurred within 24 hours. The legislation flowed out of a 2018 state audit of CPS operations.
