Rep. Filler briefs White House on Michigan’s criminal justice reform efforts

State Rep. Graham Filler, chair of the Michigan House’s Judiciary Committee, on Friday met with White House officials to discuss his work on criminal justice reform. Filler was in the Washington, D.C., area to give a presentation about Michigan’s nation-leading work in the criminal justice field at the 2020 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). He discussed his work on expungement, Raise the Age and civil asset forfeiture reform, and how these reforms fit into the conservative philosophy of limited government.
