State Rep. Ann Bollin of Brighton Township held an informative town hall yesterday evening, Aug. 21, to meet with residents of the 42nd District regarding road funding. Rep. Bollin was joined by Rep. Jack O’Malley, chairman of the House Committee on Transportation.
“I’m so pleased with the turnout and participation we had,” Rep Bollin said. “Yesterday’s town hall reaffirmed how unpopular a 45 cent gas tax is. Our drivers expect us to govern within our means before asking them to pay more at the pump.”
Residents who were unable to attend may contact Rep. Bollin’s office by calling (517) 373-1784 or by email at [email protected].
