Additional road funding for every community
RELEASE|October 21, 2025
Michigan’s new budget boosts road funding in every community across the state, providing nearly $2 billion a year in additional funding to finally fix the local roads and bridges people use every day. This plan will keep drivers safe, save families time and money, and create thousands of good-paying construction jobs.
The lists below break down how much more road funding local municipalities would receive from the bipartisan roads plan, according to data from the House Fiscal Agency. Please note that road projects for most townships are handled through the county road commission.
