Representative Schuette Seeking Intern For Legislative Office in Lansing
RELEASE|January 17, 2025

The legislative office of State Representative Bill G. Schuette is seeking candidates who are looking to serve the state of Michigan while gaining experience working in a public service environment in Lansing.

Those who are interested in applying for an internship within Rep. Schuette’s office may email their resume and/or contact legislative director Luke Derheim at [email protected] or (517) 373-0152. Both paid and unpaid internship opportunities are available.

“Keeping the people I represent in Mid-Michigan informed and being available to them is a critical part of my role as a state legislator. My hardworking staff plays a key part in that,” Schuette said. “This is an exciting new term with House Republicans holding majority and we have already hit the ground running with committees beginning to meet. I welcome anyone who is interested in joining our team and has an interest in public service or public policy to apply through my office.”

Schuette recently began his second term representing the 95th House District, which includes all of Midland County, and Beaverton, Billings and Tobacco townships in Gladwin County.
