PHOTO INFORMATION: State Representative Bill G. Schuette was presented the Champion of Free Enterprise Award by the Michigan Chamber of Commerce on Thursday morning.
The award recognized Schuette’s efforts and voting record in support of Michigan’s business community, including hardworking small business owners throughout Midland and Gladwin counties.
“Job providers in our state provide livelihoods for millions of Michiganders, and it’s important that our Legislature works to empower job creation instead of adding on burdensome regulations and higher taxes like we’ve seen over the past year and a half,” Schuette said. “I will continue to advocate for commonsense policies for our state and local economies.”
The Michigan Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 5,000 member businesses in all 83 counties across the state, as well as trade associations and local chambers. Schuette represents the 95th House District, which includes all of Midland County and parts of Gladwin County.
