State Representative Bill G. Schuette will now host a pair of “Ask Bill G.” office hours meetings in Midland and Beaverton on Monday, Dec. 30, instead of an originally planned Dec. 13 date.
“Ask Bill G.” Office Hours will take place at the following times and locations:
- 9-10 a.m. at Creation Coffee, located at 5023 Eastman Ave. in Midland.
- 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Beaverton Activity Center, located at 106 Tonkin Street in Beaverton.
“Unfortunately, House session was unexpectedly scheduled for Friday as Democrats scramble to try and ram through various parts of their partisan, unpopular agenda at the eleventh hour,” Schuette said. “I remain committed to updating people throughout our region about the latest in Lansing and look forward to talking with them and answering any questions they may have on Dec. 30.”
Rep. Schuette will be meeting with interested individuals one-on-one during these times. Those who wish to set up an appointment can email Luke Derheim, who serves as legislative director for Rep. Schuette, at [email protected]. Walk-in meetings are also welcome. Those unable to attend may contact Schuette’s office by calling (517) 373-0152 or emailing [email protected].
The meetings will mark 24 consecutive months Representative Schuette has held office hours – every month he has been in the Michigan House – and continue his commitment to being available to people and communities he serves in the Legislature.
