State Rep. Mark Tisdel on Wednesday attended Festival of the Hills, hosted by the city of Rochester Hills.
“It was great to see so many neighbors from Greater Rochester enjoying Festival of the Hills,” said Tisdel, of Rochester Hills. “Although the event couldn’t take place last year due to the pandemic, staff and volunteers put in extra effort to make the 2021 festival safe and successful for all.”
Festival of the Hills was held at Borden Park in Rochester Hills. Tisdel said he was thrilled to meet with so many people from the community at the event.
Tisdel, who previously served on the Rochester Hills City Council, represents the 45th House District. The district includes the cities of Rochester and Rochester Hills and part of Oakland Township.
Rep. Tisdel comments on House passage Wednesday of the state’s budget for the 2022 Fiscal Year, saying the plan puts a record amount into the state’s rainy day fund, while redeploying money to help- improve local roads.

Tisdel, of Rochester Hills, will host the meeting in Conference Room A at the Rochester Hills Public Library, 500 Olde Towne Road in Rochester, between 6 and 8 p.m.
