Rep. Steele opens Michigan House office to serve residents of the 54th District

State Rep. Donni Steele, R-Orion Township, today announced her Lansing office is now open to help serve the people of the 54^th House District.

“I’m humbled and honored to get the opportunity to represent local residents at the state Capitol,” Steele said. “My goal is to continue to meet and talk with as many people as I can in order to fully understand their needs. I encourage people to contact me with any thoughts or concerns.”

Steele represents the new 54^th House District, which includes portions of Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Oakland Township, and all of Orion Township.

For the last six years, Steele served as treasurer of Orion Township. She also previously served four years as a member of the Orion Township Board.

Now we have the opportunity to do so in a real way, that’s why we’re making fixing our state and local roads a top priority these next two years,” said Steele, R-Orion Township. “I’m honored to be chosen as the chairperson for the budget committee tasked with finding the funding for those solutions. We have a responsibility to ensure that every tax dollar is spent efficiently.”
