State Rep. Donni Steele, R-Orion Township, is hosting an informational event for residents to learn about local road and infrastructure issues on Friday, Oct. 6.
The event will feature a panel of speakers that includes experts from the Michigan Department of Transportation, Oakland County Road Commission, a former budget director for the Legislature, and Steele, who serves as minority vice chair of the House’s transportation budget subcommittee.
“Crumbling roads and deteriorating infrastructure concerns affects all of us,” Steele said. “This is a great opportunity to gain insight into the current state of Michigan’s infrastructure, the funding mechanisms in place, the status of local projects, and the collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing road networks in our communities.”
The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Bloomfield Hills City Hall, 45 E. Long Lake Road.
“I value your perspective and invite all attendees to actively participate in the question-and-answer session following the panel discussion,” Steele said. “Your questions and engagement are vital in shaping future plans for Michigan’s infrastructure.”
