Schuette was joined by Midland Chief of Police Nicole Ford on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the state Capitol during a special ceremony in remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. The ceremony honors first responders and members of the military from Michigan, including those who died in the line of duty in the past year.

“I was honored to be joined by Chief Ford for this important and moving ceremony,” Schuette said. “The sacrifices our first responders and military heroes make for people and families in our communities when they put on the uniform is truly inspiring, and we will continue to honor their commitment to service.”

Schuette represents Midland as part of the 95^th Michigan House District.
