Due to ongoing budget negotiations ahead of the Oct. 1 deadline, Roth is needed in Lansing
State Rep. John Roth, R-Interlochen, today announced the cancellation of his September office hour, scheduled for Friday, September 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Bradley’s Pub and Grille in Interlochen.
“I hate cancelling any opportunity to see members of our community, but we’re running right up against an Oct. 1 deadline to get a budget deal done,” Roth said. “As much as I’d love to be in Northern Michigan this Friday, the devastating consequences of a government shutdown are something we must avoid at all costs. That’s why I have to clear my schedule and stay in Lansing. We have to get a budget done; the people are counting on us.”
