Rep. Prestin, Sen. McBroom to host energy townhall
RELEASE|December 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Contact: David Prestin

Date: December 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Location: Conference room 952 of the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay College, 2001 N Lincoln Rd, in Escanaba.

State Rep. Dave Prestin, R-Cedar River, and State Sen. Ed McBroom, R-Waucedah Township, will soon host an energy townhall in Escanaba.

The meeting will focus on the recently passed Democrat green energy plan. The bills would force Michigan to have 100% clean energy by 2040. The legislation also strips local government of their ability to zone large-scale wind and solar siting projects.

The town hall is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bay College, 2001 N Lincoln Rd, in Escanaba. The meeting will be held in conference room 952 of the Joseph Heirman University Center.

Residents who wish to express their opinion on the energy bills but are unable to attend the meeting may contact Prestin’s office at (517)-373-0156 or email [email protected].
