Date: December 2
Location: Joint Office Hours with Commissioner Gary Goetzinger (District 3): from noon to 1 p.m. at U.S. Family Restaurant; Joint Office Hours with Commissioner Brian Flewelling (District 9): from 2 to 3 p.m. at Davison Area Library
State Rep. David Martin today announced two special office hour events where he will meet jointly with local Genesee County commissioners to hear from residents and offer help with state and county issues.
Martin said the new format gives residents a convenient way to connect directly with leaders at both levels of government.
“People should have easy access to their elected officials when they have questions or need help,” said Martin, R-Davison. “By joining forces with local county commissioners, we can make it simpler for folks to get answers, share concerns, and learn about the services available to them. We’re all here to serve the community, and working together helps us do that better.”
Commissioners Gary Goetzinger and Brian Flewelling will each join Martin for one of the December events. Constituents are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and discuss local or state matters. No appointment is required.
The events will take place at the following times and locations:
- Joint Office Hours with Commissioner Gary Goetzinger (District 3): Tuesday, Dec. 2, from noon to 1 p.m. at U.S. Family Restaurant, 3512 S. Dort Highway in Burton.
- Joint Office Hours with Commissioner Brian Flewelling (District 9): Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Davison Area Library, 203 E. 4th St. in Davison.
Residents who cannot attend may contact Martin’s office at (517) 373-7557 or [email protected] to share their thoughts or schedule another meeting.
