


State Representative Tom Kunse, R-Clare, proudly welcomed Renee Kent, principal of Riverview Elementary School in Big Rapids, and Murphy McGougell as his honored guests for the Governor’s annual State of the State Address on Wednesday Evening.
“I was absolutely thrilled to have Renee join me on the House floor for this important event,” said Kunse, R-Clare. “She is a dedicated leaders who makes a tremendous impact on the lives of young students in Big Rapids every single day. Riverview Elementary is truly fortunate to have her at the helm, shaping the next generation with passion and commitment.”
The State of the State Address serves as a key moment to reflect on Michigan’s progress and future goals, and Kunse emphasized the importance of highlighting the contributions of educators like Kent, who play a vital role in strengthening communities.
