State Representatives Tom Kunse and Alabas Farhat are inviting Michigan residents to come together for a night of community, camaraderie, and charity at the 4th Annual Legislative Softball Game. The bipartisan event will raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing, supporting vital programs for local youth.
Set for Wednesday, May 13, the game will take place at Secchia Stadium on Michigan State University’s campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
“This game is a great reminder that, regardless of political differences, we can come together to support our communities,” said Kunse. “The Boys and Girls Club of Lansing does incredible work, and this event is a fun way to help ensure they can continue serving young people in our area.”
The Legislative Softball Game brings together lawmakers from both sides of the aisle in a friendly competition, emphasizing bipartisanship and shared commitment to Michigan families. Proceeds from the event directly benefit programs that provide mentorship, education, and more for children and teens in Lansing.
Community members, families, and supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on their elected officials while contributing to a meaningful cause.
