State’s new legislative district lines are now in effect
The new year means Michigan’s new legislative districts, drawn by the state’s Redistricting Commission, are now in place.
State Rep. Andrew Fink is now the representative for the people of Michigan’s 35th House District, which includes all of Branch and Hillsdale counties.
The new district number means moving to a new office with a new phone number. Residents can contact Rep. Fink’s new Lansing office, located in room N-799 of the Anderson House Office Building, by phone at (517) 373-1788 or by mail at P.O. Box 30014 Lansing, MI 48909. His email address, [email protected], remains the same.
“I look forward to hearing from my Branch and Hillsdale county neighbors in the new year,” Fink said. “You sent me to Lansing to stand up for our families, and I do that best when I speak to constituents regularly. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.”
Fink will continue to hold regular office hours locally, but also invites residents to call, write, or email him with any concerns, thoughts or ideas about state government and legislation.
“Legislators are sent to Lansing to be a good steward of the people’s tax dollars – money they worked hard to earn – but this plan is focused on the wrong priorities, and spends those dollars inefficiently and irresponsibly,” Fink said. “Carelessly funneling public funds to further bloat state departments and bankroll pet projects is the last thing Michigan needs right now as families continue to struggle at the hands of inflation and young Michiganians continue to leave the state in droves.”
Rep. Fink continues to be concerned about inviting Chinese companies and hundreds of Chinese nationals to Michigan. The legislator is calling for more oversight ahead of the projects.
