State Rep. Graham Filler recently toured the ZFS Ithaca soybean processing plant to learn about the business, which is the largest soybean processing facility in Michigan.
Filler, of DeWitt, said he heard about the products produced at the facility and the services ZFS provides to the Mid-Michigan agricultural community.
“The size and magnitude of the operation at ZFS Ithaca was truly impressive,” Filler said. “This facility has been a great addition to our community, employing more than 50 workers and offering convenience for farmers in surrounding communities.”

State Rep. Graham Filler today issued the following statement after Gov. Whitmer signed legislation he spearheaded to protect businesses, universities, non-profit organizations and other Michigan job providers from becoming the target of frivolous lawsuits related to COVID-19:
“It’s critically important that we all work together to move our state forward safely as this pandemic continues to linger,” said Filler, of DeWitt. “Keeping people healthy remains my priority. It’s also vital to make sure the unemployment checks out-of-work Michiganders are relying on to feed their families don’t come to a sudden, screeching halt.”
