State Rep. Will Bruck was recently appointed to serve on the House Higher Education Committee for the remainder of the 2023-24 legislative session.
Bruck, of Erie, said his previous experience serving on the Monroe County Community College Board of Trustees will prove valuable in his new role.
“A quality education can be a valuable asset that opens new doors to success for people of all ages,” Bruck said. “I’m looking forward to shaping policy decisions on higher education issues, while looking out to make sure all of our residents are well served by colleges and universities throughout our state.”
In addition to the new appointment, Bruck continues to serve on the Insurance and Financial Services Committee and the Transportation, Mobility, and Infrastructure Committee.
Bruck is currently serving on active-duty orders with the Army at Fort Belvoir, Va., until April.
