State Rep. Ken Borton will continue to serve as Republican Caucus chair in the Michigan House of Representatives in the 104th Legislature.
Borton’s colleagues today re-elected him to the position for the 2027-2028 term. As caucus chair, he will play an influential role in helping lead caucus discussions about key policy issues.
“The best way to serve the people of Michigan is to stay focused on the issues that matter most to them,” said Borton (R-Gaylord). “As chair, I’ll continue working to ensure our members have the support and direction they need to advance policies that make a real difference in the lives of Michiganders. House Republicans have a firm commitment to making our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family. There’s important work ahead, and I’m excited about what we will accomplish.”
Elected to his fourth two-year term on Tuesday, Borton will represent the 105th House District, which includes Crawford, Otsego, Missaukee, and Roscommon counties and parts of Antrim, Kalkaska, and Oscoda counties.
